Sometimes…when I’m alone in The Beverly Room…I blast a little Florence and dance like a madwoman! I know this song is a little old, but how insane is this video?!

Flea Market Faves

Candy colored Herman Miller’s. Lucite magazine rack. Pistachio french arm chairs. From the @nycfleamarkets Antiques Garage.

I scored this incredible book last weekend at the flea market…”an A-Z guide to 500 clothing and accessory designers, photographers, models and those iconic individuals who instigated or symbolize a whole fashion movement.” It’s basically bound wikipedia entries on the most influential people in fashion over the last 150 years and chockfull of gorgeous images. I finally sat down (with a glass of rose!) to open it up and as I turned the page these beautiful dried flowers fell out.
One of those sweet moments that only happens with belongings that were previously loved by someone before they are loved by you. That’s the beauty of vintage; there’s always a story.
