I’m so in love with this little vintage party skirt! It was originally a floor length number that I had hemmed to a bit above the knee. My wonderful tailor suggested she take the extra fabric and make another. What was one discarded vintage garment is now two beautiful, covetable, and totally wearable new pieces! The original has sweet little kangaroo pouch pockets at the hip bones. ...
It is rare that I actually keep vintage pieces from The Beverly Room for myself, however this little Neiman Marcus fall floral number might have to be mine. Perfect print, fit, weight, and shape. I love the covered button closure, petite little secretary bow, and circle skirt. Beautiful movement and drape. Wish I had four more. I want to wear one of these every day of the week!
