Peaches and Cream
I’m so inspired by this gorgeous and totally whimsical vintage caftan (soon available at The Beverly Room!). The salmon silk thread trim. Ivory paisley embroidery with flecks of metallic gold running through, and the soft sheer chiffon paisley print underneath. Just gorge! It is begging to be worn to a really fabulous party……or recreated:)

Much like everyone else I am obsessed with the Miu Miu Fall 2011 collection. This vintage dress- scored the other day and soon available at The Beverly Room- reminds me of it. Those sleeves! Nice little whimsical number for a cocktail party or fancy dinner. Love.

Inside the Wardrobe
Thanks to my future Father-in-law I can now shelve my deep seated paranoia of moths. Behold the gorgeous cedar lined wardrobe he refurbished for yours truly. I was touched not only by his generosity, but by the thought he put into it. Check out those Beverly Room B’s! Hit me in my heart! Cannot wait for this thing to be delivered; must load it up with all those vintage treasures.

I bought this 1960’s black sparkle knit maxi dress ages ago. It’s so dramatic, so covered up, like nothing you ever see today. I kept thinking it needed a girl with a pixie cut and a pair of chandelier earrings to slip into it and take it away. Very Edie!

Miu Miu has my heart
I popped into Miu Miu the other day to see the Fall collection in person. The silhouettes and prints are so feminine, so chic, so whimsical and playful and flattering. It truly is after a girly girl’s heart. Love, love, love all of the dresses each with its own dash of sparkle and color. How could a girl throw one of those on with a pair of heels and a smear of lipstick and not feel...
